This bill consolidates the administrative functions of three separate professional licensing boards in Arkansas: the Arkansas Abstracters' Board, the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board, and the Arkansas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board. These three entities are abolished, and all of their statutory authorities, duties, records, personnel, and property are transferred to a newly created State Board of Appraisers, Abstracters, and Home Inspectors. The act ensures that existing rules, licenses, and standards established by the former boards remain in effect under the new consolidated board. Additionally, the bill updates various sections of the Arkansas Code to reflect this organizational change, replacing references to the individual boards with the name of the new consolidated board. An emergency clause is included to allow the act to take effect immediately upon becoming law, which is intended to streamline state government operations.
