Conversely, the court may enter a final judgment of conviction if the defendant violates the conditions of their probation. The bill explicitly excludes holders of commercial driver's licenses (with specific exceptions), individuals charged with driving under the influence, and cases where probation is otherwise prohibited by law. Additionally, the bill mandates that court-assessed financial obligations be distributed as they would be under a normal conviction and provides mechanisms for defendants to request faster judgment or extended probation periods.
